Yay for Friday!
Here's my 5...
1. Our first photo shoot of the weekend was at a beautiful place we had never been before. It was a guy's own personal spot on the river. He had turned a building into a man cave and I must say it was the ultimate man cave! The river was so peaceful and this was my view of the shoot. I sat on the deck with my feet up while the boss did the heavy lifting.
2. Our second shoot of the weekend was at an equally beautiful place. We've done quite a few shoots at this location but the view still gets me every time. For this one, I sat in this rocking chair and sang and prayed about some things that are going on with us right now. It was so nice and quiet - well, except for hearing Chase in the distance telling the couple how to pose. But I can tune that out. I'm good at that! (Love ya boss!)
3. Before the shoot I mentioned in number 2, we decided to head to Anderson for a spontaneous date. He took me to a nice lunch and then we went to see The Campaign. Let me just tell you: once you get past all the language, if you're looking for one-liners to add to your comedy bank, this movie has it. I've always heard you get to a man's heart through his stomach (which is totally accurate), but you get to my heart through my funny bone. Mr. Todd has totally nailed that.
4. Chef Chase threw these beauties together for us one night this week. It's Stromboli and it's delicious and incredibly simple to make. Just roll out pizza dough and add your ingredients. We just did pepperoni and mozzarella. Roll the sides over on themselves to make a loaf and brush with an egg wash. Bake on 350 until done. Boom. You can thank me later.
5. This is a hint about some really important documents I was waiting to sign this afternoon. More on that later...
